Canva targets universities and colleges, Microsoft adds the new Bing everywhere, Typeface launches AI-powered marketing

Hi everyone. Rough news yesterday as my company MasterClass had a round of layoffs. I was not let go, but several very talented folks in our engineering, product, and design teams were. If you're hiring across those departments, please hit reply and I can connect you with some high-calibre talent 🙏

Highlight of the day

Canva launched 'Canva for Campus', a paid subscription for universities and colleges. The offering is the same as its 'Teams' products, but with pricing tailored to education - students get free access once enough staff licenses are purchased. In addition to immediate revenue, it's a great tactic to get the next generation onto Canva.
