COIN diversifies, Zuck mulls a Trump card, Webflow hikes prices

Happy Friday! Facebook is considering getting Donald Trump back on its platform as early as January 2023. Considering META stock is down ~60% over the past year, it wouldn't be too surprising to see Zuck play his Trump card to turn the ship around.

Wait... They shipped what!?

Coinbase has launched Node, a new infrastructure offering for web3 developers.

Details: Node lets developers create and monitor applications on the Ethereum blockchain. The Node API interface takes care of the underlying cloud infrastructure, while also handling data queries needed for running decentralized / NFT apps.

Node has a freemium pricing model, costing nothing for up to 120,000 daily blockchain queries.

Why it matters: Coinbase wants to reduce its reliance on crypto trading revenues, which have collapsed like a house of cards.

Coinbase Cloud was one of five prioritized products listed by CEO Brian Armstrong during an analyst call last month, and Node is the company's first major self-serve developer product with a free component.
