Paywalled Playlists

Spotify tests NFT playlists, Midjourney blocks sensitive words, Snapchat ships audio recommendations

Happy Monday! Amazon has officially joined the Indian government's interoperable digital marketplace initiative that seeks to challenge Amazon. If you can't beat them, join them...

Highlight of the day

Spotify is testing playlists that can only be unlocked by NFT holders. The Android-only test lets users connect their wallets to Spotify - if they hold a KINGSHIP Key Card NFT, an exclusive playlist is then unlocked. Gated content as a mechanism to increase artist and Spotify revenue will be an interesting strategic direction to see unfold.
