Ikea ships a virtual interior design product, Linkedin rolls out employment verification, HBO Max introduces a higher-priced tier

Good morning! Arkansas just passed a law requiring social media companies to verify ages of under 18 users and gain parental consent before minors create accounts. After Utah, it's the second state to pass this type of bill in the last month 👮

🌶 Highlight of the day 🌶

Ikea launched a virtual interior design product. For $99 per room (or $299 for a business setting), users can schedule an appointment with Ikea to get virtual support on furnishing a space. An Ikea designer builds users a mood board, maps their space in 3D, and works with them on furnishings, materials, and lighting choices 💡

It's a strong value prop given the price point is much lower than traditional interior design, and users can then use Ikea's TaskRabbit service to build everything out 🏗️
