Link Abundance

Instagram expands its 'link-in-bio' feature, Samsung launches a news aggregator app, Reddit starts charging for its API

Good morning! After 25 years, Netflix will shut down its original DVD business in September. Am I the only one who's shocked to hear that Netflix still sells DVDs 😲

🌶 Highlight of the day 🌶

Instagram rolled out a new feature for adding links to user profiles. Users can now add up to five links to their profile bios to direct followers to external content. Given the feature has been a "top request among creators", it's wild how long its taken Instagram to add this type of feature.

Competition wise, it's a direct shot at the business models of Linktree and other "link-in-bio" solution providers. Let's see how TikTok responds 🔥
