Google integrates Bard with its apps and services, Tezza launches video editing tools, SmartNews ships an anti-doomscrolling feature

Happy Wednesday! If you’re having a rough week, just be glad that you’re not the lawyer who leaked Microsoft’s Xbox 5-year roadmap in the FTC trial 😬

🌶 Daily highlight 🌶

Google integrated Bard with its suite of apps and services. Bard can now search across applications such as Gmail, Docs, and Drive, while also connecting with Maps, YouTube, and Flights 🔌

The internal search features are compelling – rather than having to sift through emails and documents to find info, Bard can pull specific pieces of information and also organize it into a chart or bulleted summary 📝

As with everything AI, accuracy will be key. The Flights integration lets users ask Bard to pull real-time flight information, but some have already seen it spit out incorrect flight data. Not an area that you want to get it wrong..
