Costco launched affordable virtual doctor visits for members. Partnering with health-tech startup Sesame, Costco members now get virtual primary care visits for $29, with lab inclusive health checkups and mental health visits each priced at ~$70.

The product is targeted at uninsured Americans and those with high-deductible plans. With nearly 100 million cardholders in the US, a LOT of people just got a much improved ‘least-worst’ option to see a doctor 👩‍⚕️

Costco joins the likes of Walmart, Amazon, CVS, and Walgreens in jumping headfirst into primary care. Let’s hope this competition leads to lower healthcare prices for consumers 🤞
