Google beta tests generative-AI results in Search,

Happy Thursday! Wendy’s is entering the generative-AI fray, partnering with Google on an AI chatbot to use in drive-thru orders. “Wendy’s Fresh AI”, which will launch in Ohio in June, will be programmed to upsell customers 🍔

🌶 Highlight of the day 🌶

Google announced a beta test to display generative-AI results in Search. In response to Search queries, Google will display an AI powered summary above-the-fold, with links to dig deeper. Context will also be carried over to follow-up questions to drive continued user exploration 🧭

If Google ends up rolling out this feature to all users, and if the summaries end up being accurate, the SEO game is about to change real quick 🔥
