Figma goes free for all US school students, Google Cloud launches an AML tool, Bumble tests a standalone BFF app

Happy Friday! Musk and Zuckerberg have been trading barbs on social for a while, and the latest escalation has seen Zuck accept Musk’s challenge to fight IRL in Las Vegas’ Octagon. Praying this one comes through 🍿

🌶 Highlight of the day 🌶

Figma expanded free access to its design tools for all US school students who have Chromebooks. While Figma already has a free tier, students and educators will get all the features of its Enterprise Plan spanning Figma and Figjam without paying a cent.

It’s a great strategy by Figma to broaden its network effects by entrenching itself in the next generation of users. Colleges and universities are next 🏫
