Uber to add Waymo's robotaxis to its app, Netflix ships password sharing restrictions in the US, Peloton introduces new tiers

Good morning! The US Surgeon General has issued a new advisory about the effects of social media on youth mental health. One fun fact from the report - 1/3 of teens say they use social media “almost constantly” 💃

🌶 Highlight of the day 🌶

Uber and Waymo announced that Waymo’s robotaxis will be added to the Uber app in Phoenix. The former enemies have made up, and now a “set number” of robotaxis will be available for Uber rides and Eats deliveries 🚗

It’ll be a long time before this pilot expands to mass scale, but it’s likely the future of how Uber unlocks additional ‘driver’ supply and lowers prices. Despite its challenges, the self-industry presses onwards 📈
