Google rolls out skin condition search, Canva launches dev tools, Framer ships AI landing page creation

Happy Thursday! Gotta love the irony here - researchers have found that Mechanical Turk workers are using AI to automate their work. That’s going to be one hell of a circular reference ♾️

🌶 Highlight of the day 🌶

Google rolled out skin condition search on Google Lens. Users can now upload a picture of a skin condition, after which they’ll receive photos of similar skin conditions along with explainer articles.

It’s not an official diagnostic tool, however searching on Lens would likely be a useful starting point for many users in determining whether they need to seek medical help or get OTC treatments 💊

I’m excited for the potential that this type of tool has to improve health equity by reducing barriers to getting diagnostic support, however basic it may be 👩‍⚕️
