Shopify ships a bill payments offering, Runway launches an AI video-editing app, Microsoft to unbundle Teams from Office

Good morning! Grimes has given the all clear for fans to create AI generated songs using her voice. There's a monetary cherry on top for trying, as Grimes will split royalties 50% with creators on any successful AI generated song. Let the floodgates open 🌊

🌶 Highlight of the day 🌶

Shopify launched a bill payments tool to let businesses manage expenses and vendors on its platform. Courtesy of a partnership with Melio, Shopify customers can now go into the Admin portal and pay bills via their preferred method, while separately selecting how vendors receive payments (check, bank, or wire transfer) 🏹

It's yet another move by Shopify to slowly inch over from e-commerce to fintech.
