Bing tests running ads in it's chatbot, Spotify tests discovery-optimized profiles, Simple Habit pivots to sleep
Good morning! Musk, Woz, and thousands others signed a letter asking all AI labs to pause training for 6 months. Interesting timing for Musk, as it's been reported that he's exploring starting an Open AI rival 👀
🌶 Highlight of the day 🌶
Bing tests running ads in its AI-powered chatbot. For a subset of users, certain questions result in sponsored results (as below), with an expanded hover UI to engage with the ad.
Interested to see how these ads convert. One possible future could entail delivering purchase flows in a text-based format to drive conversion.
